Environmental Fest 2025 at MIST
The MIST Environmental Fest 2025 was organized by the Department of EWCE from 28–29 June 2025. Students of different engineering universities participated in 4 events (poster presentation, GIS Case competition, Environmental policy writing and Buzzer Blitz Contest) on 28 June 2025.
Respected PSO AFD was the Chief Guest on the closing day (29 June 2025) while Respected Commandant MIST was the Chief Patron.
Prof Dr. Mafizur Rahman, BUET delivered an engaging and insightful keynote on plastic use, its impacts, and preventive measures. Another technical session was conducted by Ms. Nayoka, 1st Secy of the Swedish Embassy and Dr. Muyeed from DPHE. The event was conducted successfully and were instrumental in raising awareness among participants to beat plastic pollution.
